Immolaverunt nomen tuum-School House Studios Gallery. Melbourne.2012
This space is a historic rally of ancient paganism and westernised concepts; it’s a space of one's fantasy, charged with present and past times but ultimately these connections need not be blatant. Paradoxically The Cross is a symbol of suffering and defeat but also of triumph and salvation. In site specific the St Andrews Cross: black and edged with steel, is a torture devise made for the human body, used for domineering, commanding and controlling, to be bound to and to be put on display. The performance will allow the female to explore their inner day and night by painting their bodies black and white.
